Yes. A school uploads a current, signed W9 and gives its National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) code in the online form.

How long does Meijer take to reply?

Meijer asks you to allow 60 days for review from the date you apply. You get an update by email or phone when the review is complete, and you can log in to check the status before then.

Can we ask several Meijer stores for the same event?

No. Meijer's policy is one donation per event, so submit the request for your event to a single Meijer location.

Can a group without 501(c)(3) status apply?

Yes, if it is another federally recognized nonprofit organization. Meijer requires either 501(c)(3) status or other federally recognized nonprofit status, plus a current, signed W9.

Meijer donation request

Meijer takes charitable donation requests from 501(c)(3) or other federally recognized nonprofit organizations through one online form, where you create an account and upload a current, signed W9. You can also walk into your local Meijer store, where a Customer Service team member will help you complete the form or enter the request for you. Write the request
