For organizations
You need something. A local business would give it if they knew.
This is for the people who run things on a volunteer's evening: the PTA treasurer, the league commissioner, the shelter manager, the church facilities committee, the food pantry coordinator. If your organization has a website and needs help you cannot buy, this board is for you.
What you do
- Post what you need, in one line and a paragraph. A roof repair, laptops, a website, banners, a bookkeeper for a month, volunteers for build day.
- Tell us where you credit supporters on your website. A sponsors page, a partners page, or the news section where you write about donations. No page yet? Build one in five minutes.
- When a business helps, add them to that page with a link to their site, and tell the story on your own channels. Then report the deed and we write it up too.
What you get
- Businesses come to the board looking for a cause. You are on the list, with a description of exactly what would help.
- You keep every ounce of control. You choose who to reply to and what to accept.
- A supporters page that links out makes the next ask easier. Businesses can see that credit here is real, and we print how many supporters you already credit.
- A deed page about the help you got, which you can share and which the business will share too.
What it costs
Nothing, and that will not change. The only thing we ask is that you credit the businesses that help you, on your website, with a link. That is the whole deal, and it is the thing that makes businesses say yes.
Already listed and did not post it yourself?
Some organizations are on the board from public information, marked unclaimed. If that is you, open your listing and claim it. You can then post what you actually need and get contacted directly. If you would rather not be listed, email us and it is gone the same day.
