Home Depot donation request
We found no current Home Depot page that describes store donations or gift cards for local groups, and the Home Depot Foundation grants page no longer lists the Community Impact Grants that small groups used to apply for. The one open application is the Path to Pro Education Grant: up to $10,000 in Home Depot gift cards for schools and nonprofits that already run a construction skilled trades program, with new awards from February 2027. It excludes events, fundraisers and sports teams.

Write the request
Before you open the form, write down what the donation is for, the date, how many people it reaches and how you will thank Home Depot. If Home Depot asks for a letter, adapt the donation request template or a youth sports sponsorship letter. After a yes, send a sponsor thank-you letter.
