How to apply
  1. Go to Great Wolf's Donation Requests page and select the lodge you want to ask. Each lodge has its own form.
  2. Fill out the lodge's Donation Request Form: what you would like donated, the event type, why you are asking and how you will acknowledge the donation at your event, your organization's name, website and cause, your role, your contact details, and the event name, date, expected attendance and fundraising goal.
  3. Attach your organization's letterhead or proof of 501(c)(3) status as a single PDF or Word document. Follow the selected lodge's EIN requirements: Mason marks the field optional, while Southern California does not.
  4. Great Wolf recommends applying at least three months before your event. Southern California requires this notice.

Response
The central Donation Requests page and Mason form state that requests are reviewed within two weeks and organizations receive an email regardless of approval. Southern California states 30 days, Texas Gulf Coast three weeks, and Wisconsin 60 days.

Write the request

Before you open the form, write down what the donation is for, the date, how many people it reaches and how you will thank Great Wolf Lodge. If Great Wolf Lodge asks for a letter, adapt the donation request template or a youth sports sponsorship letter. After a yes, send a sponsor thank-you letter.
